I can't believe it's been 13 months since Alfred's accident. We have come a long way. Our lives have not been easy. Some days are easier than others but God continues to give us the strength we need to move forward. Since the accident Alfred has been recovering well. He has gained a lot of movement from this waist up. He is able to push a manual wheelchair, use his cell phone, use the computer, and open and close doors. He is also starting to stand with assists in therapy. He still can't not lock his legs but slowly it is all coming back. Thank GOD! Our prayers are being answered...

For months now I have been researching a rehab center in San Diego. The rehab center is called Project Walk. We finally decided to go out there and attend Project Walk. We went for 3 weeks. It was amazing! Words can't not describe how we felt. Alfred worked out every day for three hours and the last week was five hours. They worked on his entire body. It was a very intense therapy. They gave us so much HOPE!

We feel this is were he belongs and gives him the best chance to recover. We are considering going back to Project Walk sometime soon. We could of not done this without the support of everyone. Please continue to keep us in your prayers.

I would like to thank everybody that was part of Zumba for a Cause. It was another successful event. I would like to thank everybody that has been with us since day one, it has been a long road but with the support of friends and family we would not have been able to make it this far.
